INTRODUCTION

The purpose of creating a commercial for the Brit & Blue brand is to reinforce the story of blue collar work meets British tailoring. The merging of two completely different worlds that results in a jacket that ensures clients always look put together with minimal effort. The goal of the Brit & Blue story is to express how the garment is a trusted go to for all occasions.

VOICE OVER & STORY

Brit & Blue began during a visit with a client who was struggling with  what to wear on a daily basis. As a successful entrepreneur working in the  industrial sector, this client split nearly every day between job site  reviews and boardroom meetings. He told me that at times he was  literally changing clothes in his truck in order to be appropriately  outfitted for the next location. As a clothing designer, I challenged  myself at that moment to create a line of well-tailored garments that  would be suitable for varied environments, while at the same time  outwardly reflecting that the Brit & Blue man or woman is a person on  the move, putting in the toil necessary to live really well.

STORY

Before sunrise, a CEO arrives at his office building in his Land Rover, the quiet parking lot nearly empty. He takes his Brit & Blue jacket from the back seat, carefully straightening it before heading inside with his satchel.

At his desk, he turns on a lamp and pauses when he notices a photograph of his father, a coal miner, standing beside him as a child. The memory brings a brief smile before he focuses on the work ahead.

Later, he leads a meeting in the conference room, confidently answering questions from his team. Afterward, he drives to a construction site, blueprints and his jacket resting in the back seat. While on the road, he makes dinner reservations for that evening.

His vehicle crosses a scenic river as he travels to the site. When he arrives, he puts on his jacket and meets with contractors, reviewing plans while wearing a hard hat and safety glasses.

That night, the long day ends at a restaurant where he sits with his wife. Both dressed in their Brit & Blue jackets, they share wine, conversation, and smiles—closing the day with a quiet moment together.
